'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming
Kane achieves his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to negotiate a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is presently halfway through the four-year deal he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the summer of 2023.
The experienced forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the maiden significant achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he once was, and would certainly think about prolonging his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so goes and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had eluded him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
